4th National Conference on Women, Addiction and Recovery:

Thriving in Changing Times call for proposals – deadline January 26, 2010.

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA)/Center for Substance Abuse Treatment (CSAT) in partnership with Treatment Alternatives for a Safe Community (TASC) is accepting proposals for presentations – including workshops, learning labs, demonstrations and facilitated discussions for the July 26-28, 2010 conference in Chicago, IL.

“Non-traditional” conference presenters such as individuals who are implementing innovative practices in their women’s program or recovery advocates working with specific populations are encouraged to apply as are researchers and program leaders. The conference Web site, SAMHSAWomensConference.org has more detailed information on the Call for Proposal process. Contact Beth Fraster at 978/261-1451 or by email at SAMHSAWomensConference@ahpnet.com for more information.
