The Courage to Change: A Portrait of Men in Recovery. This DVD disc contains a collection of short films, audio journals, and other interactive media. It is a rich collection of content for use in a wide variety of counseling settings, self-help programs, group retreats, and personal reflection. It centers around five autobiographical portraits of men in recovery, each of which can be used independently of the others.
The Doorway To Recovery with Host Mark Burchell is a Live Call-In One Hour Weekly Radio Talk Show focusing on the recovery process from addictive behavior. 12StepRadio.com, launched in April 2004, was founded by Bill Zimmerman. The Internet-based programming received over 12,000 visits in January. The station broadcasts 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In addition to the recovery-oriented music, 12StepRadio.com is now offering a forum for listeners to connect online.
Anne Kelly’s Recovery Radio is an archived national radio talk show that featured celebrities, authors, speakers and incredible everyday people sharing stories of inspiration, hope and recovery.
The Bradley Quick Experience is a live two-hour “Self-Help” talk show every Saturday night from 11 pm to 1 am and Nationwide/worldwide 24/7 on KRLA-NEWS TALK 870 AM (www.krla870.com ) and www.bradleyquick.com. Recovery101.net is a recovery podcast that is loosely based on the 12-step recovery programs. The format is less like a meeting and more like going to coffee afterward. The "Meeting AFTER the meeting" as it were.

Conversations with Lucifer is a fictional film about Darby Quinn (Shevaun Kastl) , a 23 year old recovering addict who is headed for a relapse. She abides, albeit begrudgingly, by the suggestions set forth by her sponsor, Brooke, and the traditions of Alcoholics Anonymous. But she is unable to share honestly about her feelings regarding her dysfunctional family and history of drug abuse. On her 30th day sober, Darby gets a cat to mark the milestone. The unlikely bond she forms with this furry companion provides Darby with the impetus she needs to face her demons; And it is this bond that sets her back on the road to recovery and ultimately saves her life.
Modern Day Miracles is a documentary about people in recovery from the disease of alcohol and drug addiction. Twelve- Is There Life After Rehab in Recovery? is a film offering a frank look at the progression and harsh reality of substance abuse and addiction from initial usage to rehab and beyond. Twelve features the personal stories of 13 individuals in different stages of recovery. The producers of this Oklahoma based film chose the name TWELVE to emphasize the age when many youth begin to experiment with the substances that lead to addiciton. God as we understand Him: A film about faith and the 12 Step movement is a one-hour documentary film that explores the spiritual underpinnings of A.A. focusing on how people of different faiths and creeds work the 12 steps and support one another in fellowship.

Miscellaneous
San Francisco Recovery Theater is a grassroots organization with a lot of local and some municipal support. It is funded by grants from the art and health community in San Francisco with no full time staff, but with a core group of dedicated actors, composed mainly of people in recovery. Its mission is to meet people where they are, provide a medium of communication and deliver a message of hope, consequence and solutions.
Outpost for Hope is a grassroots nonprofit organization on the web whose focus is on the "missing" population who are often lost among the homeless as a result of drug addiction and mental illness. This nonprofit was founded 10 years ago by Libba Phillips as a result of her sister Ashley's disappearance, she was drug addicted and mentally ill when she became homeless and subsequently vanished without a trace. The Intervention and Recovery Network is a site where people can find support for staying sober, discover resources to help with issues around addiction and most importantly, stay connected with people who are looking for or are in recovery. Improbable Players is a non-profit touring theater company that presents different plays that spotlight tough social problems as they relate to substance abuse: alcoholism in the family, peer pressure, relationship violence, HIV/AIDS, elderly health issues, and many others. The Players stand up, speak out, and help to tear down stigma. They help people learn more about the patterns of substance abuse, motivate them to talk about the issues raised, and ask for help.
