I am the Mother of a daughter I refuse to give up on! The wounds are fresh as I just learned yesterday of her daily use of Cocaine. If ever people think this only happens to other families, think again! My daughter lives out of state and I only get to see her 2 times a year. Her marriage ended, she lost her job, she has a child that lives with his father and stepmother, she has been unemployed for almost 6 months now, and life just isn't worth facing each day anymore without the drug! I have never had to deal with these type of issues! I am at a loss to know what is the best thing I can do for my daughter?! I am a Registered Nurse working in a specialty area of OB-GYN so this is totally out of my realm. My husband and I are flying her here tomorrow to try and give her hope to live and face the real world one day at a time. This does affect the entire Family!!
